Barabaka
BIOGRAPHY
Barabaka is a documentary photographer, DOP, and director. Starting with street photography, he keenly observed subcultural communities and urban outcasts. Through his lens, both the grim industrial outskirts and the volcanoes and glaciers of Kamchatka are rendered mesmerizing. As a director, he has shot artworks in collaboration with the A. D. E. D collective, and music videos for AIGEL and Mujuice. His videos are always cinematic and atmospheric, thanks to his attention to setting and mise-en-scène.
